1983 Ibanez AM-255 Collectors Guitar
This guitar is the Ibanez AM-255 Artist / Stagemaster in the classic Antique Violin (AV) finish. Built at the FujiGen factory during a short run between 1982 and 1984, it represents the absolute pinnacle of Japanese luthiery from that era. • Burl Mahogany Top: The stunning, highly figured burled mahogany top gives the guitar its distinct, deeply textured grain pattern. • Hard Rocker Pro Tremolo: This model features the rare, factory-original gold Hard Rocker Pro synchronized tremolo bridge, which differentiates it from the more common fixed-bridge AM-205 version. • Premium Electronics: Outfitted with original gold-covered Ibanez Super 58 humbuckers and amber Sure Grip II control knobs. • Abalone/Pearl Block Inlays: The ebony fretboard is adorned with highly detailed split block inlays. During the late 1970s and 1980s, master luthier Michihiro Tanaka oversaw the premium hollowbody and semi-hollow production runs at the FujiGen factory. His personal signature stamp on the label served as the official quality control inspection sign-off before the instrument left the facility. I would like to sell or trade this because I am moving and will need to thin out my collection. If you have something of value, I would be willing to negotiate. This guitar plays great. It has little to no fret ware. It has had an easy life. If you have any questions you can call me at (903) 490-zero 7six7. I will text you at first, but because of all the scammers, I will not do business via text. I am looking for money, amps, guitars, a small camper trailer. Or a box trailer.
