Fender Princeton Reverb Silverface
Got another sweet vintage Fender for sale or possible trade! This one left the Fender factory in 1980 and has seen some action since then. This era of Fender amps had the push/pull boost pot and is able to push out 15 watts instead of the normal 12 watts like on normal Princetons. Everything works as it should and let me just say, this amp has some of the best spring reverb I’ve ever heard. So natural and lush with all the drippiness you could ever want! All transformers are original and date to 1980. The caps have been replaced recently along with the cap can and the tubes are all pretty much brand new. I just had this checked out by Hatt Amps who does all the amp work at Elderly Instruments. He thought it would be best to replace the old power tube sockets but the original ones will be included and work properly in case you’d ever want to change them back. It has a reissue Jensen P10R speaker in currently which is the perfect speaker for any Princeton imo and the back panels are modern replacements. This amp has likely seen some water damage which is probably why the wood is warped a bit, but nothing that impedes proper regular use of the amp. See pics for details. All that being said this is a great sounding amp that has functioned wonderfully for almost 50 years now and is ready to go for another 50 more! Local pickup only at the Bowling Green, Ohio Police Station. Let me know if you have any questions. May trade for the right electric guitar. I’m also selling a 60’s Fender Super Reverb I can do a package deal for both if interested.
