TRADE: 2014 Martin Custom Shop 00-21 (14-fret)
Up for trade: 2014 Martin Custom Shop 00-21 (14-fret). Sitka Spruce, East Indian Rosewood w/sapwood accents on back/sides. It's a bit rare as the 00-21 is historically a 12-fret instrument. You can find new 00 14 fret Martins online, but right now I'm not locating a specific 00-21 14-fret version online as it was most likely a dealer or player's custom order. It is very clean but player's grade due to 2 cosmetic imperfections: the binding began separating and was repaired by a luthier out of Austin (it's stable but visible); in addition, there is a straight thin black line running adjacent to the nut which I haven't pursued removing (see pics). Like many of you, I've owned a # of these, and this is one of the better sounding/playing that I've come across. I'm mostly into basses these days but keep some acoustics around—here are some possible trades: Custom Shop/Vintage Fender Bass, Waterloo, vintage Gibson / Kalamazoo, etc. If it isn't a straight swap we can figure out the cash on top either direction. Can meet anywhere in Nashville or halfway between wherever you may be.
