1980s West P-Bass

1980s P-bass copy by a Japanese company called West. Can’t find much info on them but seems they were part of the “lawsuit” guitars produced in Japan for a while. Got this from Subway Guitars in Berkeley in 2022 for a tour, dropped a Curtis Novak PB-V in there. Maple neck for a lil brightness, chunky vintage-style neck profile, and a set of flats on there, ready to thump. Obviously this isn’t a museum piece—plenty of road wear—but for $300 it’s a great deal, you’re basically just paying what I did for the pickups and the hardcase. Can meet at the Guitar Center on Van Ness for a tryout! Price is firm, I’d consider a cool pedal as a trade. If the ad’s up, it’s still available and lowballers will be ignored.
